i went back to the salon..they told me they can only make it darker..so im sick of arguing with them...my friend goes to beauty school and told me they can make it dirty blond...but im skeptical about it..

ok, if I think you are saying , your hair is dark and you want it lighter, the only option you have is to strip the color by bringing it up to an orange base, then they can color over the orange to almost any color you want except light blonde. If your hair is very long then they may not want to do this because it will damage your hair too much. If your friend goes to cosmetology school, have her do your hair, I am sure she is willing to help!
