Ok, I am trying to cope from a very painful breakup and I start liking this guy. No, I dont tell anyone, and suddenly today he asks me who I like, after typing a whole bunch of "ums" on IM he says its ok if its me! And he insists that I tell him! And YES, I do! I tell him that its him I like, but I am a little confused about my ex and him. Well, we are great friends, he told one of my friends that its not gonna work out between us...the only reason I wasn't telling was because I didn't want to wreck our friendship...so will things between us ever be the same? Will we still be friends like before? Should I ask him out? Or leave it at that?

How do you know what he told one of your friends? The friend could have misinterpreted what he said. Forget about what you think he told your friend. Continue your "great" friendship and leave it to him to make a move....for now.
