That's for a dr or pharmacist to answer. It may take a few days but you still have to keep taking it to make sure you get rid of whatever you have. Usually your dr will tell you if it doesn't work in x many days call back. You need to ask them or the pharmacist where you got the med filled.

I m taking Erythromycin 250mg right now. It s been 24 hours exactly and no change! From the comments, either that s a bit early to feel a change or if I m still like this in another 48 hours I ll be back to the Doctor. I can t swallow, or drink. I am so so thirsty!

Erythromycin or if you got Erytab is a weaker antibiotic but it should start to kick in within a day or so. I've taken it before and it usually helps in like a day or so....

Name your health practitioner, see if he can endorse taking a one-time higher dosage to make up for the misplaced ones...Or he is also ready to offer you an injection of another antibiotic in order to enhance the effectiveness... Then i would ask him if that you could have your tonsils OUT -- there may be little motive so that you can have to go by way of this, if it is going down lots. And endured antibiotics will not be a peculiarly healthy thing to do both.

Even though it starts to work in 24 hours remember to finish the course of medication or else the bacteria you are fighting can build resistance to the antibiotic. That’s not only bad for you but for the rest of society.

it thus take effect on the first day but if on the 3rd day nothing changes, consult your doctor, you might need an increase in dosage or a stronger one... however, it is strongly required to finish taking your antibiotic in 7 to 10 days because you dont want that bacteria to develop resistance cause if it does it can be fatal.

You must take the full course for the antibiotic to be effective. As to how long it takes before you feel better depends on person to person, case to case basis, everyone is different.
