I don't know why but I have always liked to draw little stars on my hand or wrist or whatever. Plus i just love the stars. I thought it was just me because i had never see it before, but then suddenly i saw it a lot. what is that about? Does anyone know when, how, or who started this trend?

maybe stars just have some deep meaning to you. i like stars. i am getting some tattooed on my foot, but they actually represent something for me so, do what you want. if you like them and always have... it's not a trend you'd be following. maybe you could do something a little more unique... like have your tattoo artist make a design of tiny empty stars that make the shape of a larger star? and the empty spaces can be clored in with a soft color. actually, that would pretty much rock.

I have a star tattoo!!! And I don't care if it's trendy or whatnot, but I have one. I think stars are so cute and they can symbolize anything for anyone... rather than just being a trend.

My tattoo is a small black star outline on the top of my foot with a small eighth note in the middle of it.
It means that deep down at heart, no matter what I become, no matter how badly I'm feeling about my situation in life... I'll always have music in my life to make me feel better about any situation.

I have 3 tattoos and and 2 of them are stars.I don't necessarily see it as a 'trend'.It's jus whatever the person feels like.I have a green and black nautical star on my right ankle and my father has the same one with the colors reversed but on his left ankle. We got it as a 'bonding' thing.I also have a small grouping of stars on my right shoulder blade.I jus love stars, I have them all over my room and all over my boyfriend when I find sharpies.Jus be sure with the decision you make for getting a tattoo, it will be with you for a while.

They are common in the "emo" crowd for some reason. I have a star tattoo on my inner wrist, just the outline in blue ink. I love stars and the shape so thats why I got one, although people tell me it looks silly, they say it looks like a stamp kids get for doing good work at school.

I like stars, too. They are cute, easy to doodle and don't have too much deep meaning attached to them. So I decided on a star when I got my tattoo. I haven't heard about star tattoos being a trend, though.

I have 15 tattoos.

10 of them involve stars.

I just like them, and I like how they look. I'm really not worried about what "trend" I'm following, or what anyone else thinks about them. They make me happy :)

i had no idea it was a popular thing to have, i got a little black one just below my pelvic bone with my best friend because we dared each other to do it and now its just a symbol of our friendship. i also have been drawing a tiny star on my hand between my thumb and my index finger because i think it looks cute but im still deciding if i want it to be permanent...anyway they are cute
