I was asked to take illegal action in my business and when I did not agree, the perpetrator filed a false police report while I was away from town. There was an arrest warrant against which I was unaware of and was stopped by traffic police and was sent to Jail.
The Procreator had not even looked at the evidence, when I pointed it out, he said he was sorry that he had not picked that up yet. He called the accuser and ask them if they could provide any further evidence and since they could not, he dismissed the case.
The person who did this to me is a owner of multi million dollar company and is an immigrant from different country. He thought he can send anybody to jail. He had tried same thing with one of his employees but the employee tackled it before the warrant was issued. But in my case I had no idea what was going on. Does anybody know what I can do ? I even got my record cleaned but this guy goes around and tells everybody that he threw me in jail.

Filing a false police report is in itself a crime. Contact your local PD and provide all pertinent information.
The PD did nothing wrong. They were 'doing their job'. Most officers I know are very perturbed when a false report is filed.
Once the issue of filing the false report is established, you can then sue former employer for false arrest.
There's also the issue of slander, if these people are willing to provide a statement and appear in court as a witness.
Good luck.

In most states it is against the law to file false reports. Talk to the court about it. Start with your local police department, then go to the prosecutor, then just work your way up, State rep, state court, etc. If nothing else see an attorney, you might have cause for a civil suit.

The best thing i can tell you is to contact a attorney. and talk to that attorney about harassment lawsuit. That is what this person has done, and you do not have to take it. Oh yea the more people that you can find to help back you up on this the better. I.E. his other victims would be great

He filed a false report and if he signed the complaint against you, he could be liable for false arrest, defamation of character, slander, libel, loss of wages, emotional anguish.
You need to hire a lawyer.
Best of luck.

If you do not have any financial constraints consult an attorney. You will get compensation for the humiliation and defamation caused to you.

Consult with an attorney. You may have a case.
But keep it to the relevant facts. (Immigration status isn't relevant to your case. Bringing it up will hurt you, not help.)
