How can I do a report on War in Iraq?

I would like a helping hand on how to do report on The War in Iraq.
I'm a JROTC Cadat doing a 3-5min. report on it and need a structure for it. What positive points can I give my viewers and Americans to support the troops with my paragraphs on the main points and the mind-blowing opinions?

Please have a positive stand point on troops,Country, and have it on war point of view not a civilian point of view.

You could start by saying even though the U.S. Army is not built for Guerrila warfare they are doing a pretty good job.

I thought the military isn't allowed to show political views..

Well start off by saying that we could have taken a whole different approach to the Iraq war.
The troops there are holding out the best they can trying with the poor equpitment they have.
This war lasted longer then WWII.
Question to why we helped Iraq instead of other terrorized countries such as Somalia..
What could this money be used for, like VA and making a better life for soldiers...
The general public supports the troops but not the war, to reassured that the troops there are being respected for their sacrifces but the war questions the general public.
The troops are being over deployed, some are on their 4th or 3rd tour of duty.
Ask the classes opinions on why we we are in Iraq.
What do the population of Iraq think of us.
What do the general public think of the soldiers and war and Bush's decision.
Suggest that we restate the mission, because the public and maybe the troops are confused about what's going on and whats the goal.
Is this about freedom or oil?
Are soldiers lives worth this interest we are pursuing?
Reports about cruelty by some troops towards the Iraqi population.
And make a poll of your school or community about the war, troop, and Bush (unbiased poll).
Is the media putting wool over our eyes and only making us see the bad thing about the war?
List the good things like building of hospitals.
Get proof and facts correctly.
Tell what the media is saying and what the troops there are saying.
Talk to veterans about the war and Bush.
How are the troops being treated in Iraq, get a point of their life style, hot weather, good times, bad times, their wishes, their goals.. etc
Lists countries that are involved in the effort to help American troops.
Suggestions from the troops in Iraq, like better armor, and less publicity.. etc
List what the people think the mission is in Iraq, the troops, the civilians, the politicans, the principals.. etc etc


Some of these arent positive and some are positive, you choose what you want to report.. I just gave you some ideas.. IDEAS.. Not report. So good luck.
Oh and to the guy above me, can you tell me what are your experience on why you state that opinion, I'm just wondering since I'm only 13 and thinking about joining, so.. Email me or list please.

Sorry, but after having served four years in the US Navy, I will never again have a positive point on Troops, or Country.

Maybe you could say something about how nice it is that the Navy doesn't have to intercept, and hold oil smugglers from Iraw anymore.
