there called butterfly closures, and they will pull the skin together and hold it in place till it heals, be sure and keep it clean and dry, pull the bandages tight so it'll have a better chance of healing, these are available at wal-mart for about $ 2.00 good luck and get better soon.

No home remedy exists that I'm aware of. Did you go to the doc and get a tetanus shot, possible anitbiotics? Infection could kill you, seriously. Aside from cosmetic surgery, expect a scar.

Put a bandage (not too tight) or bandaid on so that the edges of the wound touch. Use antibiotic cream.

Do what makes sense, clean, disinfect, use sterile dressing. I read some where that when stitches aren't possible Doctors use super glue.

The only time a scar forms is when the edges of the cut are too far apart from each other. So keep it moist and not opened.
