Turkey is not a continent, it's a country. It's in Europe (Europe's the continent.) And by symbol do you mean what design is on it's flag? If so it's a red background with a white crescent moon and a white star next to it. For more info on the picture go to wikipedia and type Turkey.

Turkey is actually in both Europe and Asia. Istanbul is divided in two by the Sea of Mermara. The western portion being in Europe and the eastern portion and the majority of the rest of the country is in Asia. It is a beautiful country and the "bazaar" in Istanbul is incredible to wander through.
I don't understand what you mean by "symbol." However, if you do mean their flag - the others that have answered have done so correctly.
