Well, if he really liked you he would have just given them to you. And any man that would borrow money from you is not worth having. If he can not afford to take you out and treat you like a queen then I say loose him. If a guy likes you he will do anything he can to make you happy and wake up every day thinking, "What can I do today to show my girl I love her today?" Sounds like this guy is just asking himself "What can I get my girl to do for me today"

OMG...girl. Get read of this "lil' boy", he's not man. He lead you to believe that it was a gift then pretty much take them back by asking for the money back. And on top of that he borrows money off of you and never paid you back yet. I've been in your shoes and wished I would have left that guy way before I did. I know how it is. Leave him...he's using you for what you are, taking advantage of you. Take charge. It's okay to cry too. You had the right and everything else. I would have been upset too....
Hope this has helped. Good Luck!

No, you arent expecting too much. Those kind of things should just be spontaneous little gifts of love, I dont think he should demand $ back. I would suggest stopping letting him borrow money until he pays you back, or just forever, and talk to him about it - let him know you love that he thinks of you, but that demanding $ for a "gift" isnt right. So id say dont ditch him yet, but it might be time to re-evaluate how special he makes you feel, whether you can rely on him, etc.

Did you ask him to buy them for you? If not, did you ask him why he didn't tell you right away they weren't meant as a gift? It just sounds a bit strange to me. What kind of communication do you guys have? What boundaries have you set up? Those are the types of questions you'll probably want to ask yourself when determining if this misunderstanding is just that, or if it's a symptom of something deeper. One of the biggest relationship killers is selfishness. What makes it worse is if one person is totally unselfish and always ready to give, while the other one is selfish and always willing to take. Basically, you have to decide how emotionally healthy you guys are together.

The answer is "no". If he expects you to give back money for such a small thing, and borrows money from you without returning, he is cheap and unscrupulous. People like this are not worth having around in any role - as boyfriends, friends or just casual acquaintances.

no you aren't expecting too much. He should have said right away that it wasn't a gift. Not meanly he could have just said I thought you would like these if you don't want them I will take them back. 9 DOLLARS come on ..... surely your happiness and excitement is worth more than 9 dollars! Hang in there

borrowing money, never buying u a thing, should be a warning of what life will be like with him. that's why we have to pick our relationships wisely and not go by just looks, and who is cool. he may never be who u want him to be, we cannot change others, what u see is what u get. no your not expecting too much from him, but that doesn't mean he is going to be the person u want him to be. sure we all have dreams and wants, and we want someone to love and adore us. but doesn't mean he wants to provide u with those things, he sounds very selfish, and self serving. go find someone else who will not deny you things. don't allow the mouch to borrow any more money.

no he isn't worth keeping, a guy who is too cheap for nine dollars is bad. let me guess you hang out alot with never really doing anything that cost money to him. and never ever loan a man money they should be there to take care of you not the other way around. no man of any decent upbringing would take money from a girl. good luck with your choice.

no your not expecting too much at all, thats just rude that he asked you for the money back after getting them for you, it should have been a gift to make you happy. and he definitly should not be asking for the $9 back from you when you spend money on him, or let him borrow money.Thats rediculous...

I would have said "you bought them without asking me if I would even consider paying $9.00 for stickers, therefore they are concidered to be a gift". If he persisted with the "I want my $9.00 back" I would say "take it off of the money that you already owe me".
