I believe that virginity is the most sacred gift anyone can give to another person, the problem is that there is very few women or men over the age of 20 that are still virgins, so most of us men have given up the idea of finding a future bride that is a virgin. But, just like any opinion, every man out there has a different view on the importance of it. I do also believe that if you are getting married to the right man, your virginity wouldn't matter, because love is what you are suppose to get married for. But, if you are strong enough to keep your virginity, I would definitely hope that your future husband would appreciate you for doing this, if not, then he may not be your best choice for marriage.

Virginity itself does not have any value; the 'Ethic' that controls a girl to remain Virgin has value.
Many virgin girls having all kinds of sex and still they are virgin.
This virginity is worst than anything.
However, those girls who have good family and they accepted the values by their hearts, they remain virgin as they know that they must be a 'good mother' in future and have 'confidence' to tell to her daughter how 'virginity' is important for a 'good family'.
This is the only reason that after 7000 years, these value have been passed from parents to children up to this date, and will remain as the most important part of a 'good family' for future.
In many countries in the World, boys must be virgin too; and they would have their first experience with their virgin wifes.
I am sure most of men they like sex. However when it comes to select a girl for 'Life Time' they look for virgin girls first and when they fail, then marry whoever...

Virginity does not matter much as long as she was not a s-l-u-t and screwed everyone and everything, that when she did give it away... it was for the right reasons and there was love involved.... whatever reasons it ended that guy lost out because she will be mine now. Love being the most important thing. Her being a virgin only means gratification that you will be the first to be with/in her. It a unique experience that a guy should feel honored to be given the chance, but it by no means should be held against her.

Funny you should ask that. I've been married for more than 26 years and I've always assumed that my wife was a virgin when we tied the knot. However, I don't know that for sure. Ain't never asked her. For that matter, the more I've thought about it over the years, the more I've wondered. If you were to reverse things and have her ask me the same question, the answer would be, "No, I wasn't a virgin". I hope she never asks, though, coz my previous encounters were with prostitutes. I'm sure she has no idea and I'm not at all sure how I'd answer her if she did ask. Most likely, I'd lie to her.

I am also 19, and one of my best guy friends at college is 19 and a virgin. He has a girlfriend right now, and he is saving himself for marriage. At the age your at, many girls VALUE a guy that is willing to save himself. Its a turn-on really. You should be proud, I wish I would've had those values a few years back!

Virginity after a certain age is an anomaly and abnormal, usually an indication of a psychological problem. "Purity" and "virtue" have nothing to do with virginity. Anyone who seriously thinks it does is a religious fanatic or an utter prude or both. My late fiancee had loads of sexual experience and was the most wonderful woman I'd ever met and more genuine virtue than many of these "pure maidens".

It does for Asian country as Cambodia - a girl devoid of virginity is the black sheep of the family and even worse, this could lead to the right divorce only night after the first honeymoon.

I think this issue was more important in previous years. These days in our sexual society people are having sex more often and earlier. Honestly it wouldnt bother me if my bride wasnt a virgin as long as she truly loved me thats all that would matter to me

Guys don't care if a girl is a virgin, exactly. We just want to be the best you've ever had.
