The only good thing that can come out of controversy is education.. God will judge us in the end, but for now -- we can at least learn and understand each other--- that is--- if so many people didnt just point fingers, say hateful things, and bash others. I would never change my religion, but I like to understand the people of other religions.

Hi. I am a Christian studying Arabic at a major University as well as Islamic studies. I would ask that you do research if you are serious about your question. Did you know the Muslims cling to a Gospel written hundreds of years after Christ and yet they don;t really like to acknowledge the ones written at the time of Jesus. It is called the Gospel of Barnabas. They believe it is blasphemous that we are a trinity: God, the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit. However all things in this world have three dimensions. Length, width, and height cannot form an object without the other two just as the present cannot exist without the past or the future. My question would be, if God really is a just and good God, why do we all have to learn arabic to hear the actual word of God? A muslim will tell you, "Well it's the exact word.Nothing has changed!" The bottom line is this, God says he wants none to perish, not that HE wants none to perish and we all have to learn arabic. I also find it interesting that they believe Jesus Christ managed to escape the cross. The Islamic study guide from whyislam.org says that he did. It was a clever way to eliminate Jesus from being slain, so that way they could also explain away the resurrection. There were however, witnesses to the death of Jesus, and several witnesses to his body with holes in his hands, not to mention 300 messianic prophecies. Seek the truth with all your heart. God is unchanging and he is waiting for your fellowship.

I feel, as I've stated many times on this site, that people should stop trying to prove their respective religions are the "correct" ones. No one alive knows or can prove which religion is right, as none of us were alive during biblical times. To those that argue that we also weren't alive during the times written in our history books, I say this: people during our history as stated in history books did and participated in things that we today know are possible. (fight in wars, etc.) These historical figures didn't try to part a sea with the wave of a hand or listen to a burning, talking bush. Christians have to understand why Atheists and others are a bit skeptical. The bottom line is though that people should be happy when they meet someone who has something positive to believe in, regardless of whether or not they share the same beliefs.

Look at their ancient texts, as well as who led the people. What text holds up, what leader was consistent with the text and what he said and did? There is no contest...Christian wins that one easily.

Well as you may have noticed Muslims are mostly just defending and explaining their religion from those who are bashing it constantly.

It's the media who keeps spreading lies and stressing differences when it should be educating people and urging them to work together.

It's not up to us to play God by pointing fingers and judging others. Our job is to live our lives as He asks us to.
