Well, if you really loved someone and gave them your heart - you'll never exactly fall out of love. That's why it's great to hold back with your emotions to some degree until you've got a commitment going. There are things you can do to minimize the memories and their effects on your life. Destroy pictures, phone numbers, gifts etc. Try not to have to be near that person if possible. Don't keep in touch ever. Fall in love with the right person and things will be okay.

i've been trying to fall out of love with my him him for a while now and i'm practically an expert. think up a list of reasons for why he's wrong for you. don't put him way down just say what he does that you dislike. say what you do and don't want in a guy and see what he fits in as. or just give it time. if he's wrong for you you'll get over him even if it takes a broken heart. it's just something that happens to nearly every girl at least once in her life. and wanting to fall out of love is normal. just try and focus on school and not on boys. save all this dating junk for your future and wiser years. :)

that's a really hard question to answer and to explain. i've fallen out of love with my husband (soon to be x-husband in december). i just didn't love him like a wife should love a husband. i mean i still love him as a friend and that will never change, but i just didn't love him as a husband any more (and other reasons for him being an x that i don't want to get into right now). so it's hard to explain unless it's actually happend to you.

As easy as it may sound, it is not easy at all, but you have to ignore those feelings that tell you to call a person or see a person, you have to be strong, and just be uninterested...its very difficult but I believe it can be done, in a way you kind of have to be heartless to do this, be "cold" and just not care.
