No manual is issued. Humor, however, is totally tolerated. Are you talking about answers on here? A lot of these questions really don't lend to humor, and even if they did, you can't always read it in words. This is not the best way to judge someone's mindset, on a site like this. However, I do find my self laughing out loud on lots of occasions, just as much as frowning at nasty stuff, etc. Its all good.....just relax and enjoy, its what I do. Life is too short not too.

laugh laugh laugh. many places in the bible it says laughter is medicine for the bones. I guess it depends on what you think is funny. Course jesting, however is not funny to God and He says so in the new testament. Go to a christian bookstore there are Christian comedians and there is nothing wrong with good clean humor!! The Lord Himself rejoices over us.

Absolutely not... God'speople are happy people. I think God smiles when we are happy and I know he has a sense of humor. I think you should laugh as much as possible, just not at anyone. Laugh with them and not about them. Being Born Again does not mean being Bored Again! Have fun...be happy...

It would seem so but,no, there is not that mandate.
People take their religion very seriously.
Personally, I think God has a great sense of humor. How else could we explain the Duck Billed Platypus.

My whole church is born again, and we ALL cut up- including our pastor. Our church LOVES humor and we laugh in every single service.
So... we didn't get the no humor rule book....

When I first got saved and went to my first prayer meeting, I was SHOCKED when I went in and saw all these Christians laughing and having a great time fellowshipping. Having been raised in the catholic church, I never saw much joy there, and to see real joyful Christians enjoying the Lord and His goodness and each other, helped me to understand how much JOY He does give to His children when truly KNOW we belong to HIM!

I was born fine the first time and never looked back. I believe that people with this type of "simple" mindset are incapable of "getting" most clever humor.

what do you think fellowshipping is -- who do you know just hangs out and/or eats together being serious and intellectual the whole time. There are rcords of feasts all through the Bible ---wasn't Jesus the One who turned water into wine ------sure they all wanted to drink and be conservative lol Jesus had a good time too.

There can be humor but not in your religion considering some of us believe this is what determines our eternity
