The first time a man cheats it is his fault. After that you assume responsibility for letting it happen by staying with him. Once a cheater always a cheater. I could never stay in a relationship after infidelity (except for that one time, of course...got to base my opinion on experience ya know!). It really just sours everything. After that, all I can think about is him being with that other person....yuck. You deserve better, now you just need to convince yourself.

that's deep. think about it. 14 years, cheated 5 times and tells you to your face he's been lusting after your sister. if you had left the first time then he wouldn't have been able to tell you he's wants your sister. you wasted 14 years of your life this tis pig yet you waste no time posting this question, why would you want to leave now? cuz of your sister? it's because you've put up with it so long that he feels he can go after her. find some selfesteem and leave that piece of crap. he's been screwing around how many times and now he wants your sister. he'd be sh*tting out his teeth an his d*ck. he wants your sister girl. he wants to keep himself in the family like a freakin heirloom. once again i'm telling some one to pretend the house that you live in is telling you to "GET. OUT!!!". girl you should be packing. GET. OUT! GET. THE. HELL. OUT!!!

no i cant forgive
but since i am a guy i would have to imagine a girl doing that.
Im still single and i plan to stay that way since i don't feel like being dumped or being cheated for. I guess the only time you should forgive a guy (girl for me) is when pigs fly

If you are asking this question after 14 years here is the answer: first forgive him, then leave him.

if he cheated on you 5 times and had feelings for your sister.....sorry to say, but hes only sorry because he got caught. i wouldnt trust him....but thats me, once trust has been broken its impossible to get it back. you, on the other hand, may be able to find it in your heart to forgive him...just remember, its easy to forgive but hard to forget. every time he leaves the house, youre going to have a sick feeling and wonder where hes going. i wouldnt be able to live like that...good luck to you though.

if he's cheated on you at least 5 times already he's going to do it again and again. he's not going to stop until you leave him. i wouldn't forgive him if i were you. you can find someone that treats you alot better than that. trust me hun, there are many way better men than that out there. just keep looking.

I couldn't even forgive a woman who did all that.
With a man, sure, I believe he can stop cheating on you... if you chain him down in a basement somewhere.

Oh that is so painfull !
I can't imagine that he ever treats you with respect.
Please explore your own needs and desires and take good care of yourself.
Don't forgive him until you are clear and strong in yourself. Get some support and educate yourself on what healthy relationships are and what is slow soul killing.
