I never understood that either. I think it's bold to be interested in other races and cultures besides your own. A person is only as good as his/her heart. Thanks for bringing an excellent question! Godloveya.

I don't know how hold you are and how much experience you have with relationships but, relationships are hard enough as they are and if you date someone from another race, color and/or religion it makes it that much difficult. You and the guy could be madly in love and not care but eventually friend and family WILL step in if they do not approve of color, race, religion or even financial back ground.
Personally, I do not care. A beautiful woman (outside and inside) its a beautiful woman no matter what the color of the skin or race but I now have the experience to understand and really think about if I was to get involved with someone very different than me.
If you have friends and family that would support you, that is great but if you feel that they would not, REALLY think about it. We all like a "nice looking person," someone we are attracted to but remember, what REALLY counts is what it is on the inside.

I think this will always be a controversial topic, because in my opinion when people see two people from different ethnic backgrounds, then they see two different people, and most of the time in this world and society, we are accustomed to seeing 2 common people together, not 2 different looking people together, but its a sad reality, but I believe it is nice to date someone from a different race, it shows how much of a "people person" you really are.

That's the nature of racism, for people of one race to stand in judgement of another. Generally, it's subjective. What's right for you, your family, culture and traditions, but in a wider humane sense, it is wrong because most oppressed people look upon it as prejudice.
