Yes - first go to fafsa.ed.gov and fill out information for Financial Aid. This is money you will have to pay back after you get your degree, but it will help you get it. Depending on your EFC - expected family contribution - the school you want to attend may have programs for those in need. The school will also be able to find out for you how much you can get from a Pell Grant. Pell grants do not need to be paid back. They vary in amount, and generally are enough to cover one to two course credits per year.
Fastweb.com is a site where you can apply for scholarships - some are essay's but worth the effort.
Another thought is by signing up yourself, your friends and family on UPromise. You all can earn certain percentages for college with purchases made....even some utility bills.
Fill out any and all forms for assistance that you can. If you attend a college in your state, often the state has grant programs for single mothers. Check your state's website.
Look around the sites listed and you will get a better feel for what's out there for you.
There are links on the fafsa website that you can use for guides on obtaining funds to attend.
Some student loans are available as well. You can pay after you get your degree. National City, GM, Bank of America...etc. Some offer full deferment, and some you can pay the interest while you attend.
Good Luck!!!!

The fafsa has helped me tremendously, along with student loans. There is a lot of financial aid available in most states, just go to the school of your choice and fill out the loan applications. Also, check the link below. Fill out this form on the web, or get one from your school and mail it in. This is free money from the federal government that you don't have to pay back. I am a single mother of just one child, making several $ above minimum, and I still get all the help I need and then some.
Good luck!

You would definately get approved by fafsa and get the maximum amount. I work part time and have one child and get plenty of grants for school and books. You should switch from working full time to part time. depending on your state there are also wefare programs. Illinois has some great ones. Just research your state.

There is alot of help out there. Especially for those who are single parents and make little income. I don't have any children but I qualified for grants and loans. I fot my whole tuition paid for. All you have to do is fill out a fafsa form and send it to the college of your choice and they can help you with the rest. Granted not al of it might get paid for but you never know unless you try. Good luck.

i'd discover any job i could get impressive now, and save each and every penny i could. identity have the main inexpensive residence i could get, whether it exchange into particularly shitty, as long because it exchange into risk-free. Then identity take the fathers to courtroom and get baby help out of them, and that i wouldnt have intercourse with any men impressive now, on the possibility of having yet another infant and being abandoned back. whilst the youngsters get the right age, positioned them in a public college so its loose for you, and get loose/decreased lunch. once you get some money saved up, take a information superhighway course or one at a community college to get your degree, then get a much better paying job. you're able to do alot to coach around your subject, you merely could carry on with your self. Get a job and save save save!

Nope, but you can apply for student loans.
If you are caucasian or 'white' you will get nothing free from nobody, just like our ancestors.
If your black...there are LOADS of organizations out there just waiting to fork you some cash! If your hispanic...just say the word and you'll have the government throwing money at you! Chinese? Absolutely! Arab- heck they'll give you a truck load of money just to start your own business!
Tough it out girl...I did...and I'm a stronger woman for it, and more successful!
