I'm about 14 years old, and I sometimes have joint pain. What can I do to cure it so it won't hurt so badly?
Thanks!

I had arthritis at your age, I am sure it is excepted these days in children. Go get the blood test done to see if it shows up.
Do you have relatives with arthritis? Like in my family it skipped a generation.
Go to the doctor, first see the nurse at school. Hopefully you just pulled something (better then arthritis, so many variations of it).
You are not one of those kids who cracks your knuckles and other parts of your body because you think it is cool? Good don't!
Good luck and if today is better then when I was a kid you wont have to jump up and down for someone to listen to you!
Be careful of some of these drugs, very addictive!

Remember this name, Ibuprofen (inflammatory) it just might be your new best friends....

Slow stretching is a good relief system for the joint pains caused by growing, otherwise known as "growing pains".

This site has a series of exercises with instructions and pictures that should help a lot.

Potassium. It's possibly your lacking the potassium. Drink milk and eat yogurt daily. Eat bananas, and your fruit. Eat your protein like meat, and your fiber. Stay away from sweets, and start working out a little. In two weeks, you should see good results. Take motrin during the night to keep the pains away...they keep you up, trust me.

I'm no doctor, but figure you should see one. You can also take daily Glucosamine to help your joint. It's like a supplemental vitamin, sold over the counter.

You might have jubinile rheumatoid arthritis. YOu need to see your doctor. You can take some tylenol, nothing with aspirin since you are still young and aspirin can cause reye's syndrome. See your pediatrician. And let me know if I was right.
