When I read my five year old son's Christmas List:

"A pack of 80 crayons

"A cookie recipe

"200 M&Ms

"A four foot long map of the world

"A sewing book

"A paper showing a colored rainbow

"A stegosaurus puzzle

"A stack of construction paper"

How many of us could ask for such simple things? I laughed until I cried then I just cried. There is meaning behind every single item on his list.

: )

The last time I cried was over a movie. I cry over movies all the time when they are really happy and sweet endings, or when it's sad. The last movie was L'enfant. It's a French film that won an award from Cannes or some film festival. It was sort of slow moving, but it really got you wrapped up in the lives of two young lovers. And at the end... well, if anyone COULDN'T cry at the end, they must have no heart.

(I don't really know what this has to do with Religion and/or Spirituality, but what the heck.)
It was about a week or so. I (and everyone else that I went with) had just came back to town after being at the AZ State Thespian Conf. and we had to head home. It was about 1:30 in the morning when I got home. Before I fell asleep, I just started to feel sad. Anna Streight, who's kind of a veteran (FYI, I'm pretty much a rookie in this compared to her [my first year]) in our Drama Club as she's been a thespian for 3 years I think, well, this was the last State Con. She's apparently a Senior, and will be going off to College somewhere next year. We're acquaintances, but we don't really know each other that well, and yet... I just felt saddened that she would leave us. I knew about this before State Con, and I understand that there's nothing any of us can and should do about this, but I had the urge to just start crying. I prayed to God that I wished that Anna's life was as good as He could possibly make it and that she succeeded in life (well, sometihng along that line: I can't remember what exactly I said.). Oddly, I'm not exactly been known to be like this. I've had my outburts now and then, but it's been a while since I've felt like that. It actually felt good to get that out of me, and yet I still hope that what friendship I do have with Anna won't be squandered. Well, it feels like I'm rambling, but I think you get the jist of what I'm getting at.

Last week. Read a story in the newspaper about an abused child.
EDIT:
Reading through some of these answers is enough to make one cry again. Like Jelly Beans's for example.

7:10 THIS EVENING(Monday) I found out that one of my Aunts is dying. She has an aneurysm on her spine, it is inoperable, the doctors say it will be days at the most. I do not know if she knows Jesus, and I cannot afford to drive to talk to her.

I change my answer to --When I read I love Jeff's post.
That is such a sad thing to even think about, and it saddens my heart to think she would through her relationship with Jesus away like that.

2003 NLCS, when the Chicago Cubs lost to the Florida Marlins. The Cubs haven't won a pennant in 98 years. To see them win was ecstatic - of course, Steve Bartman wouldn't let it go without having a say in things.
