I have a problem when it comes to talking to girls I like. I can't make eye contact for long. It seems like a minor problem, but to me it's not. It's rude, but I can't help it! What should I do to help myself with this one?

Matt, eye contact is really important to a woman, as you already know. And I'm proud of you for seeking help..most men would have tried to just fake it. She will get the idea that you're not interested in her if you don't make that all important eye contact. Here is a trick. If you're sitting the table from her, you make the eyecontact and when you get the urge to look elsewhere or drop your gaze, glance up at her eyebrows. It will still look like you're looking her in the eye. Drink your drink with a straw, so you can lower them to your glass when you're uncomfortable, and it won't be awkward. If you really practice and try; and relax and smile, the eye contact will come naturally. It's is especially important when she is talking to you. Also, lean forward when she talks. That gives the signal that you're intently interested in her conversation. Then you can do the old sit side by side trick and the eye contact will come and go quickly. God love ya! You'll do great!

Your biggest problem would be confidence in yourself! Girls want to see guys that are confident and comfortable with themselves and what others might think of them. Before talking to that special girl relax, take a deep breath and just talk to her like she is any ordinary person, once she sees that you are confident in yourself she will be even more attracted. Confidence and assurance in guys is extremely attractive to girls

I do this too. i think uncomfortable once I word somebody is watching me. i do no longer choose somebody to think of i'm watching them. they're probable slightly shy too. maximum women like it while adult males make eye touch, rather if the guy is beautiful! yet do no longer assume each physique to hold your gaze. no longer each physique can do this - does no longer mean they are no longer drawn to you. i might attempt and initiate off up some verbal substitute in case you have an interest in somebody.

When the right girl comes along there won't be any problem for you. If some gal doesn't understand that this IS a problem for you, then she's not the right girl. Kapeesh?

Talk to more girls! You know what they say...practice makes perfect. Just be confident in yourself, and realize that your chances will improve if the girl thinks you're confident.

If you really want to talk to her looking into her eyes should come naturally. Maybe if you feel self conscious she isn't right 4 you.

Relax and just talk to the girl after you get comfortable being around her it'll be fine....

it's normal. it's ABSOLUTELY normal. a girl wld know that you like her when you do that and she wldn find it rude. she'll probably be pleased. well guys behave like that to me most of the time so don worry yourself abt it!

instead of looking directly into her eyes, look just behind her head. they tend not to notice and prefer it over having their boobs stared at. eventually youll get over it dont worry.
