I think it is rooted in fear, and ignorance. People are afraid of what they don't know and can't control, if you believe something different you are threatening their own beliefs, and the best way to validate yourself is to invalidate those who you are afraid of.

What do you mean by mocking? If you mean not agreeing than I am guilty as charged but to mock would go against the very message of peace Jesus came to share. I do not mock peoples beliefs as a Christian I think that is wrong.

The thing about fundamentalists in ANY belief system is that they are so entrenched in what THEY think is right that they are unwilling to accept that any other idea has any validity whatsoever. The problem with that sort of fanaticism is that the only way they can convince themsleves that they are right is to convince others that they are wrong.

I don't know what a fundamentalist is really, I know that many get
their prides pumped up bigger than pumpkins at a county fair and
strut around like bantam roosters. I like to think their purpose is to entertain and when there through just clap and go seek God

Hindus do believe in spirit verbal replace, that is for constructive, yet this body of understanding is a heavily guarded secret of exceedingly Tantrics and could be discovered with the help of a guru. The emphasis on "instructor-Disciple" relationship for getting to well known is by way of inherent disadvantages in contact. Spirits frequently choose a medium to communicate, and many a time the spirit refuses to go away the medium. in straight forward words that souls which has no longer attained moksha, will be invoked. it truly is all i recognize.
