Im a senior at high schools. I have many hobbies such as playign piano, playing chess, and learning languages. I am fluent in three languages in French and spanish and english. I already bought some books in Italian language but haven't dedicated some time to it. It is worth it though in my case or should I ignore Italian and focus on my studies? any suggestions or thoughts about this?

Yes, I learned Italian on my own by reading my husband's Italian Language text book (he was taking Italian at SUNY ) I already knew Spanish - which makes learning Italian a lot easier.

Give it a try.

I went to Italy and had no trouble communicating and speaking Italian. My husband (who had been taking the big expensive college Italian courses) could not speak much at all and was completely in the dark and amazed I know how to speak Italian.
