What is up with this country, and immigration? We do not own this land. We just took it from the Native Americans. Everyone except Native Americans, are not "American." Everyone else who think that they are American, are just European immigrants. So, why does this country take immigration so seriously, if the government and such people ARE immigrants. I do not believe in immigrants. So why can't they just allow everyone who wants to come to this country regardless of anything, if "Americans" did not have to do that?

Correction, we do own this land. Most people would say that it belongs to the "native Americans", but it doesn't. The reason: because if you live on earth, the rule is survival of the fittest. This goes for humans as well. The europeans were better equipt, and took the land, just like they did all over europe. All humans are from Africa, we took it from the animals that lived in the other countries, and then we take it from each other. There is evidence that europeans were here over seven thousand years ago. The ones we call native Americans came here just as we all did, by traveling from another land. We own this country just like everyone else owns theres. That is why we have the right to say who can be here and who cannot be here.

This is another specious argument. As of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution, 'we' do in fact 'own' the land. Many wars were fought to establish the United States as you see it today. You may not like it, but you are also free to leave it. I suggest that you re-examine your position on being pro-illegal. There's an agenda at work, here that needs to be stopped. This agenda mainly originates in Mexico, where there's a lot of problems, so consider carefully...I'm for border enforcement, employer enforcement, and vast improvements in immigration enforcement overall. Pull the plug on the liberals, and their crap, and have done with the entire charade. Support LEGAL immigration ONLY, and ignore the carpet-baggers trying to talk their way into the United States.

Yes, I agree ...sigh!....
Look, cavemen fought for territories way before the Indians you speak of were here. The biggest, baddest, least hair ones that were lighter skinned won.
It's a human thangy. Get off my land or I'll stick you with this spear or whatever.
Behave trade goods, let us groove with your lasses etc and you can party with us.
When you bring more of your clan than I have in my clan onto MY land ...I get nervous. So like, be a good guest, obey my rules of entry and enjoy.
Otherwise ...prepare to die!
Remember, it's a Human thangy. It's how we are wired.
Don't look now, but every other animal on the planet is territorial too! No excuses! It's not pretty but it's who we are.
I'm embarrased to be human but don't try and take my land or my freedom ...or I'll get ya!

The immigration laws are just an extension of the locks on the doors of the house/apartment you didn't build but pay for.
You might enjoy reading Mexico's immigration laws. An eye-opener for sure.

One thing to bear in mind about the Native Americans is that many of them got slaughtered after they banded with the English during the revolutionary war and the war of 1812. They attacked cities and killed innocent people at the same time the colonists did to them.

Think longer as your reasoning has failed you. First, Indians were not here first & secondly if everyone got to come in, we would be over crowded, lawless, & our taxes would skyrocket from medical & welfare needed to help immigrants who could not speak English & find jobs. Other countries including Cuba (who has already tried this) would dump their criminals on the USA. You do not have to believe in it, it is still the law. Study before asking please.

We pay for schools and services for poor people. They don't make enough money to pay enough taxes to cover their costs. We are willing to do this for our own poor and for those we 'invite' through our laws, but are not willing to spend education funds intended for our own children to educate those illegally here who don't care how their breaking the law and taking those services hurts our own people.

They are a net economic loss and the sheer number of them is causing our schools and health care to fail.

Their better life is at our expense.

You pay for them, if you want them here. I don't want their better life coming at the expense of my children's future.

Why can't we just do away with all laws? Why is Mexico still following a set of immigartion rules but you say America cannot have any immigartion laws?

No No, little girl, we take illegal immigration seriously, here in America we do not care for law breakers, the illegal immigrants have no respect for us, or country, or our laws.
