No matter how mature you may think the 13 year old is, there is just too much difference in interests and maturity. The age difference isnt bad if the two people are in their 20's or 30's, but in the teens, it is just too far apart. Why would an 18 year old want to date a 13 year old anyway? Something wrong with that!

There's nothign wrong with huge age gaps, but the problem being here is the fact that this is and/or soon will be illegal. The 13 year is considered a minor. If the girl was 17 and the guy 20 something that wouldn't be so bad... In all honesty I'd be concerned that teh guy was a) a pedafile, or b)only wanting to date the girl for sex

ok not its not and in most states it illegal. some one 18 and over with some one under 15 is considered child molestation no matter if he or she was will. and 15 with an 18 yr old or older is sexual miss conduct with a minor. so id skip the whole thing unless you want to be jail bait if you are 13 or you want to go to jail. if you are 18 in indiana just an 18 yr old kissing a 13 yr old can get you put behind bars my cousin is walking proof all he did was kiss her never anything else and he got sent to jail and is on the sex offenders list and besides whats so great about the thaught of some creep putting his hands on you 13 is young like it or not its very young. and 18 come one if he likes a 13 yr old hes gotta be ugly or something is wrong with him cauise thats not a man thats a pedifile if you are the one thinking about going with an older guy please im me i would like to talk to you about this i have been there and would like to talk about this

It's absolutely not okay. There's a difference when you five years apart and your 45 and 50, you still have the same level of maturity, and your both adults. A 13 year old is not emotionally ready to handle dating an 18 year old who is just becoming an adult himself and wants to try more adult things.

NO NO NO, A THOUSAND TIMES NO Honey there is only one thing going on here and it ain't that he loves your sparkling conversation. This guy is too old for you and he knows it In fact that is exactly why he is with you because he knows he will be able to manipulate you no matter how mature you think you are Trust me he will get into your pre teen pants, rock your little world and leave you used and probably pregnant. Wake up and smell the mistake and get away while you still can.

If the 18 year old doesn't mind some jail time. And that's just the legality of it. Never mind the moral implications. BIG trouble.

No. In most states, the age of consent is about 16. To keep the older one of the relationship out of jail, it would be better to find someone else to be with. You would never be able to have a real relationship where you could actually hang out with your parents. That in itself would be really stressful.

Girl are you crazy? That man is like 5 years older than you! Not only that, but I think he might be a pedophile if hes going out with girls the same age as you. Please be smart about this and leave him alone, you dont know what hes capable of doing too you.

In many, if not all states, that is actually illegal. At the age of 18, one is considered as an adult, and if an adult were to date someone considered to be in the classification as child, that would be considered as statutory rape. This is considered to be a federal offense.
