Dialysis machine is an artificial kidney. It is not as small and Compaq, but it does the same job.

The other thing close to it is a bag, installed inside the body cavity, it needs emptying very 3-4 hour or so. The bag also needs re-charging. It needs a sterile place to perform this task. Takes about 15 minutes or so.

No it isn't possible. Your kidneys filter the toxins out of your blood, no artificial organs have been made that have been successfull, even the Jarvik artificial heart was a failure, some things in medicine can be duplicated.

Haven't heard anything about artificial kidneys yet. If they had why would be so many people on dialysis.

kidneys acts as body filters so there will be so much study before artificial kidneys will replace our very own kidneys.
