Sometime, my college pals and I will chat, and it seems like every damn person in the room is staring over in my direction. I am not chatting during class, and I am not talking very loud either. Its like everyone is staring at me all of a sudden. Is this just curiosity? I know, when others talk I couldn't give a rats a * * what they are talking about. Why do they do this?

Perhaps they want to join your conversation or are simply interested in the topic being discussed.

Maybe they're just being friendly. A lot of people think that a conversation between two people is ONLY between them, no matter where they are. Another segment of the population figures if it's happening in public, it isn't private, and may be interested in joining in. I'm in the latter segment. If you want privacy- go get some. It might just be that your conversations are interesting. Don't worry about it.
