Y is it so?? is it a good sign for christianity?? most ppl get bad impression on the relilgion due to this. y is tat done in christianity when not in any other religion??

I am a christian.
Personally i believe it is a persons choice whether they accept religion, it should not be forced on somebody and it should not even be encouraged on somebody. I believe people know religion is out there and if they want it they can easily go and get it.
I get quite angry when i hear stories about this however nothing can be done, it is after all a free world, and i'm not going to lower myself to these peoples levels and say 'you have to do this this way' because that would be doing exactly what they are!!!

I bet the Christians are trying to teach the people to read. I also bet you are afraid that if they are educated they will not agree with whatever anti-Christian beliefs you have.

Maybe you could focus on literacy programs in your country so those less fortunate could make better informed decisions.
