Yeah, actually, I have. It seems to happen to me everytime I chat online with a lady for any amount of time. I like good conversation, so I take it where I find it. The problem is that a lot of ladies I meet online seem to mistake genuine conversation with me liking them or something. Then they get angry when I don't return the feelings.
Right now what you're describing is what we call "intuition". If you feel like something's not right, then something's not right. This person doesn't love you. He may think he does, but he obviously doesn't even know what love really is. You can't love someone you haven't even met in person.

Well it is possible to fall in love with someone over the net. I actually met my now fiance on myspace and things have been going great ever since. But if you dont have the same feelings for him that he has for you, then you shouldnt lead him on. be honest with him. He may be a great guy, but that doesnt mean hes perfect for you. If he was you wouldnt be asking this question or doubting your feelings

*chuckles* This past thursday I had this guy randomly message me on facebook. He's from the area where I live.. and after talking to him like all weekend I'm starting to like him.
But anyways, hun, if you don't like him in a more than friends sort of way, it's ok. There's going to be some people who are the perfect person.. but you have no attraction to him... I have a guy friend who is exactly what i want in a guy... No kiddin. But I am not attracted to him in amore than friends way. He's actually not that looking... there's just no spark on my behalf. It's a shame really... but hun, it's ok to not like someone if they like you. You just need to stop leading him on. If you don't like him in the romantic sense, you should tell him

I have. Ended badly. I was in a similar situation only in my case the girl was suicidal -_-. After almost killing herself because I didn't love her back she got over it.

i did but it didnt last. now we both have kids w/other people. i love him when he didnt want a relationship. when i moved on, he was ready but i wasnt.
