It means pampered teens have it good - for the moment. But wait until they have to meet up with REAL life! Tough love is better than pampered teen life because it prepares you better for what you have to face when Mom and Dad aren't around....

teens these days are spoiled and don't have to work like the older generation did.
they buy expensive clothes, electronics...cars, jewelry, make up...games...all on dads credit cards...you all need to get out and make your own money and pay for what you want to know how to live in the real world.
