i would like to be able to spend more time with bf ..who is not high or drunk but all he wnat is that .. and when he gets high and drunk i start to drink as well .. i dont want the only thing we have together is that and i have told him that what do i do he is high off weed and acholoic all the time

you have to set the example and stop gettin high and drunk with him. if he wont stop and you do he should get bored after awhile of doing it by himself most times. just try it but remember to make sure he knows how much u love him.good luck.

sorry buddy but um, im thinking she wants to let you down easy, im sure she realize that youre a good person in all but dont want to end the relationship on a bad note, the fact that she texted you and even called is not a good sign that she wants to cuddle, she is turning you into the "friend zone". she wants to hang out w/ you as a friend cause maybe you two have a lot in common, but as far as a love connection she is not feeling this anymore..... now if she didnt care too much about you she wouldve taken a different route in cutting you off in a rude way, nobody wants this, or any rejection for that matter, just take it for what it is and try to respect her as a person not your ex-gf for not being a monster about all this. this probably wasnt an easy decision she had to bring about either, just talk to her and tell her that you understand if the feelings have changed and if you still think you can hang out w/ out getting your feelings involved then so be it, but dont do it if youll be upset seeing her intrested in some random guy at a bon fire, ....good luck, it's not the end of the world dude...

Get out of that relationship it is not good for you at all. You are what we in the adult world call and enabler, that is not exactly a bad thing, but what it means is you allow him to manipulate you into doing the things he wants to do and you encourage that behavior by drinking with him. If you really want to be with him then sit down and tell him, that he either stops the drugs and alcohol or you are going to find someone that is more concerned about your feelings then getting high. You are better than him and the activity's he does,

People who love to drink will find a drinking buddy if you don't want to be that way then you dont' have to participate. but he will find another they always do and feel more comfortable around other drinkers . You can't change how he is unless he's willing to change. So all you can do is take care of yourself. he's in no shape to help you out at this point. His first love is getting high and drinking and if you want to hang out with him this is what he likes takes you as a drinking buddy.

Personally I think that since you're level headed and smart enough to realize that there is a problem, you should be smart enough to remove yourself from the situation. Both of you have a problem. You can't save someone from drowning if you're drowning yourself. Get some help and find someone better for you! Good Luck.

you don't sound compatible. he has a substance abuse problem and you are falling into the same habit just to be with him. worse yet, you both will become dependent on alcohol and weed to have a good time so you will never appreciate each other while sober.
