Earth system science yeh? Ok all earth science is, is cycles of system, the water cycle erosion, rock formations.

Rocks are pretty easy to get. Just go out side look for 6 rocks that are all different and explain that these rocks where all found within a 1 mile radius. Then explain where the rocks came from and how they may have become the sizes and shapes that they have become. All you need is rocks the internet and a little imagination.

You have a hard gray rock with no holes in it that is very heavy. Write down the type of enviroment you found the rock in (by the side of the road, by a body of water ect.)
Weigh the rock.... just use a grocery store scale if you're strapped for scales and make the scores close to the right weight it doesn't have to be perfect no one will know. Measure the length width and height of the rocks in centimeters. Note the color of the rock, how consistant the color of the rock is. If the rock is rough or smooth.
Then ......make a prediction about
1) where the rock came from (from a mountain that used to be a volcano, from coral rock that used to be live coral ect.) and why you believe this
2) what the rock was made from, and why you think this
3) what the rock has been through (trucks may have road over it cracking it, birds may have picked it up and dropped it, water may have made it smooth, and why you think this.

Finally do a little reasearch and find out the truth about each rocks typical origins you can print out from a geology site pictures of rocks that look similar to your rocks and the names of those rocks. Organize it all in a dyarama and there you go.
