For the last few years of my life my memory has rapidly decayed and I find myself unable to remember the most simple of things, such as why I walk up a hall or to turn off the faucet. Does anyone have any ideas on vitamins or methods that improve short term memory (and long term memory, if possible)?

Ginkgo Biloba is supposed to be good for this. I use Albi's Ginkgo Biloba Phyto Gp-24. It's a better brand than the other I was taking. It's sold at health food stores.
Believe me I've done the "enter a room and wonder why I was there" bit. Quite annoying, eh? I understand completely. I do everything I can to keep my mind active, crossword puzzles, cryptograms, read. I wish there was more I could tell you.

Try playing Brain Age or Big Brain Accademy. Those to are for the ds. You just do a bunch of mind things a few minutes a day. But dont forget to practice.

You should see a pyschiatrist and ask about it. My sister would often forget her name or what she was doing a lot. She hasn't exactly told me how and I didn't bother to ask but ever since she began visiting the psychiatrist her memory has improved dramatically. Pills, probably. She was 17 when this started happening.

Before you do anything, you need to see a Dr. to rule out any disease process. He/she can advise you what to do. This is not normal for a healthy young adult.
