Last winter my skin was so bad. I tried Crisco. My aunt told me to mix glycerin (I found some in my grocery store's pharmacy) and lemon juice. I want to try and see if I can find just plain almond oil after trying Burt's Bees almond hand cream. In my bath I used a few splashes of Avon Skin-So-Soft bath oil and some oatmeal I had run through the blender. Maybe you could mix Crisco with some natural oils.

My aunt always used baby oil right after washing her face or showering, to keep the moisture from evaporating as much, and she didn't towel-dry. She still looks pretty good for 85 years of age.
