I'm 21. I also model. I really want a tatoo on my ankel. What do you guys think yes or no? Is that slutty or like white trash. Do you think it will affect me getting jobs in the future for modeling? Do you think tattoos are hot on girls or not?

No tattoos. Also, it can't help a modeling career. If they want someone with a tattoo, they can put on a temporary one.

I'm 22, and I have 15 tattoos.
Obviously I do not think that tattoos on women look slutty or trashy... however, I do think that you could choose a better place than your ankle to get a tattoo.
As far as jobs go, you may not be able to wear skirts if it will show... depending on what type of job it is, of course.
With modeling, now days there are lots of models with tattoos. They either have small ones that they can hide, or they can just edit them out later.
I swore that I would never get a tattoo on my ankle, and then I was at a tattoo convention one time, and I decided to get them on the BACKS of both of my ankles.
They are skulls with wings, the one on my left ankle is done in blues and whites, and it is an angel. The one on the right is done in dark pinks and purples, and it is a devil.
I know it probably sounds lame as I am describing it, but I absolutely love them. I like it a lot more on the backs of my ankles rather than having them on the side.

I have a tattoo on my right ankle and a tattoo bracelet on my left ankle. You need to be absolutely sure when getting tattoos that it is something you will want on your body forever. As far as your modeling goes...Is your ankle(s) your best feature? Is that the only part you want to be modeling? I think that most people expect others in this day and age to have a tattoo. Just make sure if you get one it is of good quality and taste. Nothing vulgar. And remember you can't please everyone. So just make sure you will be happy with whatever you choose because you will be stuck with it unless you want to have painful laser removal. Good luck in whatever you decide. By the way, my hubby loves all my tattoos.

You will regret it later.
I am 34, and got a tattoo years ago. It is on my arm, and I regret it so much now that I never wear short sleeved shirts, ever. I don't have the money to get it removed. It gets to be 105 degrees and hotter in my part of the country in the summer.

if your gonna get a tattoo the final decision is always your but think about what you want and wait a few years before you get it because you can change your mind in a couple of years is in a couple of years you still want it then get it..and the whole job thing you can always use makeup to cover it up

If your a model, then no. What If you're wearing something that doesn't match the tattoo? I don't think it's a good idea.

That decision is only for you to make. It may affect jobs but with all of the airbrushing that is done on print work you should be fine.

I would say do what you think is best for you. and some jobs don't like tattoos so just think long and hard

I got a tatto in my ankle since I was 16, Im 20 now. I really doesnt go with everything, I wish I never had it done, Oh well
