I used to pretend to propose to my fiance. When I actually did it; she kept telling me to do something "special on sweetest day". I had no idea. I broke my bank and borrowed 90 bucks from my grandmother to finish off the layaway, then told her that I want to go for a walk in the park. I then told her that I wanted to pretend to propose to her 3 times. The first two times i wanted her to say no, then the 3rd time I want her to say yes. So the first 2 times she said no and blew me off. however, the third time, instead of simply getting on my knee and asking, I wanted to pickup a leaf and pretend that it was a ring. so I grabbed one, and secretly wrapped up the ring inside it. I then got on my knee and "pretended" to propose to her with the leaf. I slipped the leaf on her finger as I said "will you marry me"; then i pulled the leaf back reveling the ring. http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?cat=Bridal&pid=04420421000&vertical=JEWL&subcat=Anniversary+Bands&BV_UseBVCookie=Yes

we was just a-sitting on the front porch swang and just was a- talking about how the how nice the weather was, and how good the fish had been a-biting, and lookin torward to deer season, when i felt it in my heart to let me be her man and her my woman, i promised her that i would keep her fed up, and not let
her feet get too sore. when i asked her i had to go down and sit on my rear end because my knees aint't like they used to be,
besides i plowed since sun-up. she thought it was all romantical and all that, but her daddy wanted at least a cow. so i had to give him ole bessie sue..... now after being married for so many years,
i wounder, maybe i should have kept the cow..
