Thov was just wondering why Judges wear robes? could it be a symbol of authority? or what?

Yes, a symbol of authority and basically to intimidate people and bully them, in some instances. There was an instance a while back of one that was caught masturbating under the robe.

i'm not sure approximately priet's even nonetheless it may come from the gowns that have been worn contained in the time of Jesus. so a good distance as judges, it somewhat is a relentless custom from English regulation. Thank God they have been given rid of the wigs nonetheless!

It's supposed to cover the man so you only hear the justice.Like preachers who wear those robes.It's supposed to be humbling so you don't look at the man just hear the word.
