me? I would fake myself into the Billioinaire's Boys Club. Record all their shams to rip-off the American people and post it on the internet!

So what if I become "slime me" again because of what I did.

Post yours!

Maybe you're kinda joking but.......I would invest in Rehabilitation
Services.

* I would offer rehabilitation to anyone that wanted it....a helping hand up as far as they would want to go..."without cost".
* Counseling in every area would also be given to anyone who
wanted it...including religious and moral counseling.
* Education as well as Internships and Apprenticeships with all Companies and Trades would be offered.
* Total Evaluations would be provided for each person and a Goal directed Plan for their needs would be agreed on and implemented.
* All needs would be provided for at no cost until such time as each person could be enabled to make a living wage and be able to be independent and productive.
* Those people who are unable to work on a Plan successfully will be counseled and assisted until they are able to be productive and independent to the greatest degree they can attain.
* Shelter and Counseling services for longer terms would be provided for individuals that are limited physically, mentally and emotionally.

...and I'd start right in the big cities...from NY to Chicago to LA to Miami to Seattle. Now wouldn't that be a hoot!!!! Especially when everyone would see how successful it was!!
They'd all be saying.."It's so simple. Why didn't anyone ever do this before?"

I would find a run-down hotel, then I would find a charity that works with a intercity's poor. People who cannot afford safe decent housing. I would fix up the hotel nto apartments would have the charity find the people I should help and if more people than space, do a drawing for the space. I would have the poor pay 1/2 of their salary in rent which would include everything, electricity, water, maintenance, etc. I would have the people who live there form a association that would make the rules on what will be allowed. I would keep the government (state and federal) out of this, because whenever the government gets involved, there is just a big mess and no one is helped. Helping a small group become middle class benefits all Americans as these people would have a home, pride and a place for social security checks, etc to be sent plus if you have a home, there is a place for potential employers to contact you for a job. These people would end up tax paying American citizens.

Money itself doesn't guarantee happiness, but it can create happiness if you use it as a productive and positive tool.

With that, my Billion dollars would open up schools across the State of Texas, (as a start) that would provide the new generation of office workers technical, office and self-esteem skills.
In 2008, 13% of all office workers (mostly women as secretarial or administrative help) will retire, leaving a huge hole in our worker population. Even if there were enough "bodies" to fill the seats of the retirees, the new workers will lack specific skills to be placed in these jobs.

Without specific industry training the cost of labor will rise, the workers who are in place will be asked to do the work of those who have left, making loyalty to any one employer even more scarce. Training an ample supply of labor is a smart win-win situation for the employer and employee.

I love training and seeing someone "get it" or helping them see how their lives will be better because they have learned a new marketable skill. It is so rewarding.

The school I work at now, barely can pay for a toner cartridge and that is so dis-heartening, especially when I know there is money available to those of us who hold the vision of a better life for those coming behind us in the work world.

I like teaching not only how to "work on a computer" but how to assimilate in an office culture, how to hold your dreams while at the same time be of service to those managers, doctors, lawyers, presidents who will need somone to assist them.

Anyway, that's my dream with a Billion, Million, or just a few thousand bucks.

Thanks for giving me a chance to write my dreams down.

Anita

have my face all over times square and everything and I would always be saying witty things and have my own kids show with lots of bunnies & chinchillas & kittens, and a lot of harajukuish japanese women in fits of laughter while petting the bunnies/chinchillas/kittens and picking & eating strawberries. Oh I'd also develope a line of cosmetics called 'luv unlimited' or just LUV. And open a few clubs, make more money.

Make so many videos and distribute widely to show that you have done it!
If billions of dollars can be used to benefit all Americans, then every goverment can do it. But, true prosperity requires many things, especially education, morality, hard working...

1-i will start an account, with 100 millions to create an organization ,that i will call 'THE 9/11 FOUNDATION',
in the memory of all Citizens of U.S.A. ,specifically to all the
families who lost someone from their family in that tragedy,
2-100 million more to the people who had still not been able to recover from the 'KATRINA,'hurricane.so they can have the opportunity to rise again from their tragedy.

How could your intention benefit all Americans? You have already
targetted many to suffer and no sign of benefits yet except
yourself.

I don't think with just a billion dollars that you can benefit everyone. What I would do is help those that could benefit most from being helped.
