Depends on where you are. Our tickets average $285.00 each. So 3 times 285 equal $855.00

It is going to be alot....and in a case like this they may even possibly put him on some type of probation period. He needs to go get his license, insurance and locate the tags.....a no insurance ticket automatically is like almost 300.00 alone, so plus the other two he is looking at more than a couple of hundred dollars...

It is hard to say, not knowing where he lives specifically, but he really blew it.

How does he know his tag was stolen? Why didn't he report it before? It is illegal to drive without plates. It is illegal to drive without a license. It is illegal to drive without insurance. It is illegal to be an illegal.

Sounds like a prime candidate for jail followed by deportation.
He is lucky he didn't kill someone in a car accident.

Good luck to him. The $$ will be the last thing on his list of regrets.

Well I know its going to be very EXPENSIVE!! I was stopped, I had my liscense and registration but did not have a copy of my insurance. Which I thought you didnt need on hand since they usually only ask for licesnse and registration. Anyhow my ticket for not having proof of insurance is about $360 But if you show proof of it later I believe they are supposed to throw the charge away, which Im hoping they do for me.

What is the cost?
1. cost without insurance
2. cost without drivers license
3. cost without registration
4. cost without license plates
------------------------------------------
5. cost of impound if you own the car
6. cost of storage if you car was impound
7. cost of going to court
8. cost of auto insurance

The answer is, a lot of fines (1-4), and future cost (5-8). It actually cost one paycheck to pay the fines

A lot....consider himself lucky that they didn't impound his car. The court costs will be added on top of the fines.
