This is what i do for any acne i have...
*Wash once or twice a day (duh) but not too much that will make it worse
*Like my mom always said "DO NOT PICK" i hate to admit it but if i leave it alone it heals faster and doesn't spread
*i also bought a tube of 10% benzole peroxide and i put it on problem areas before bed and in the morning (but not too much, like most things, use in moderation)
*and dont touch your face in that area so much, and dont try to cover it up with your hand all the time because that just shoves the oils and bacteria further in your skin...believe me i used to do it all the time.
*also...clean razor when you shave...rinse well because if you use the same one and dont rinse it out well then all the bacteria that came off in your razor last time will now go back in your face..eww
pretty sure there is plenty more but just choose whatever works best for you everyones face is very different...and what works for one might hurt the other.

If you have alot of breakouts near your mouth they may be caused by your toothpaste...try to make sure you dont get it all over your chin and stuff and clean it all off when your done. I had this happen to me. Also another good remedy that ive tried and it worked is lemon juice. It drys up the acne...but if you use this get a non fragranced lotion to keeps your skin from drying out to much. One other thing ive tried and it works also is witch hazel. Hope this helps.

wash your face twice daily. Use either phisoderm creamy cleanser or bar. Use your hands to wash your face and use a washcloth to rinse. Washcloths tend to irritate the skin causing outbreaks. When you dry your face pat dry don't rub - again the cloth will irritate your skin and cause outbreaks.
Your acne near your mouth could be hair bumps (cause by in-grown hairs) or you could have a case of mono. You may want to consult a dermatologist just to be on the safe side.

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html

Proactiv is great. I saw results after two days. Watch the commercial and get the low price trial packet. They will put you on auto ship but you can cancel at any time. We have three people using it in our house and still have extra.

I use castile soap, specifically "Dr Bronner's Castile Peppermint Soap". You can usually find it at health food and all natural stores (WholeFoods has it). I used it when I was young and now my teenage daughter uses, and swears by, it. Wash your face with that and you should have less acne.
