is losing water weight the same as being dehydrated? if you dont drink all day would that make you lose water weight? if so, then why would people take water pills to lose water weight when they can just not drink? im a bit confused...

you retain water when you dont have enough water in you. so if you want to lose water weight you want to drink lots of water so your body doesnt retain the water!
