It does not say that you must accept, as if it is a choice. It says that we DO accept. Faith is given to God's elect out of a world of people that have a natural inclination away from Him. Man is the weak one, it is God that is all-powerful and "loves us to Himself" in a relationship that he predestines, provides, and gives us the tools to persevere with our salvation.
I think the "personal savior" part has to do with a relationship that we can now have with the God the Father through God the Son, with a changed heart due to the work of the Holy Spirit -- as opposed to "head knowledge" without any outward "fruits", which would amount to hypocrisy.

Dear Friend,
Have you ever wished you could start your life all over again? If so, there is good news for you!
Jesus, God's Son, made a way for you to experience a brand new life. Yes, you can start all over, regardless of how many wrongs you've done or how "messed up" you feel right now.
God's forgiveness, acceptance, and power are available to you right now, no strings attached, just for the asking.
Just come to Jesus as you are (Romans 3:23). Admit your helplessness to save yourself (Romans 6:23, Luke 18:13). Ask Jesus to be your Savior and to give you a new start (II Corinthians 5:17), and confess with your mouth that He is Lord (Romans 10:9).
Why not pray this prayer? It will lead you to a brand new life. It is a simple prayer of salvation.
Dear God,
I come to you in the Name of Jesus. Your Word says in John 6:37 that if I turn to You, You will in no way cast me out, but You will take me in, just as I am. I thank You, God, for that.
You also said in Romans 10:13 that if I call upon You, I'll be saved. I'm calling on You, Lord, so I know You have now saved me.
I believe Jesus died on the cross for me, and that He was raised from the dead. I now confess Him as my Lord.
I now have a new life. My sins are gone, and I have a new start, beginning NOW! In Jesus name, Amen.
Thank You, Lord!

John 1:12 But to all who believed him and RECEIVED him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn. This is not a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan - this rebirth comes from God.
All who welcome Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives are reborn spiritually, receiving new life from God. Through faith in Christ, this new birth changes us from the inside out - rearranging our attitudes, desires and motives.
The exact phrase "personal savior" is not in the bible. Neither is the word "trinity". But we all like to use synonyms.

Your kinda right. Jesus is no beggar but Lord over all. He commands all men everywhere to repent. Salvation is not some cheap say the right words and kazaam your saved. Only the mighty work of God in a man can cause Him to hear the command to repent and believe and obey it.

The differnce is one in all velocity. verbal committment of confession wityh human beings. regulate calls . those above verses are used as regulate calls to rwch each and every sort of uncommitted human beings that are uncertain, according to hazard have an element self belief in Christ . The impartation of the holy Spirit is our very own instruction manual for eac human beings as Jesu Christ defined. additionally spoken of as teh comforter being the indwelling presence of the. Holy Spirit interior us. once you examine Romans 10: 9 and 10 you will understand. In his ministry human beings already knew his call, believed on his call a minimum salvation element. The comforter will come. i could circulate Jesus mentioned so he might come. The spirit is likewise in a position exterior us in different manifested techniques. information of the call does no longer mean one is in Christ and or born of the spirit of God . The surety of verbal committmenst as will abide interior us is the substantial factors some churches emphasize. This humbles a bekliever and that they are in a position to advance in grace and information of the bible quicker. comparable to offering the holy Spirit or laying ion lf palms interior the porbytery to heal as nicely. The verbal repeat sort of examine missles in cathlicism enables speach and verbal confession to be made. that's what you according to hazard anticipate in different churches. compliment and prayer are at situations spoken by the congregation yet no longer each and every of the sevice. So the form differs lots. Confession that Jesus Chris died for you and arose returned is the committemnbt needed in those verses. The bible extra sates that in case you confess me for men I wil confess you until now my Father in Heaven. So somebody might attend without the verbal committement.
