I think he is really full of it.....As a Hispanic woman, I find him insulting and degrading to women.....

Not ALL Hispanic women are beaten, but a lot of the ones who are do take it and never leave their husbands. The ones who do leave either do it far too late (after 2 decades or more of abuse) or wind up going back to their husbands because they have nowhere to go. In Latin American culture, wife beating is not considered a serious crime.

I think you and Chavez should alternate as poster-children for immigration enforcement. Illegal immigration is a crime, aiding and abetting illegal aliens is ALSO a crime, learn your facts etc.
Get clueful on the REAL story...illegal immigration is a big problem, it's all good to make jokes about it and trash-talk people I guess, but behind it all lies the bitter truth: Mexico fails in many respects in taking care of its' own people, and until the people themselves start standing up with some civil initiatives to fix a lot of this, and until Mexico as a country decides to stand up and be a better partner on the border with the United States, we'll just see more of the same:
If you really want to help the people of Mexico, which I assume is your aim with all of your specious comments etc., why don't you volunteer to help in neighborhoods in Mexico? Now, that'd mean work, wouldn't want you to like, get your hands dirty or something, that might be demeaning, you breaking a sweat, and all, but it might be a tremendous learning experience for you.
No time like the present, to re-school yourself, and learn what's REALLY going on! Or, you can come here everyday, and keep saying all these wonderful and complimentary things about America/americans...your choice. But, the second option accomplishes very little, while the first might actually result in helping someone. If you do become inclined to utilize your energies in a more positive direction, then you can look online and find out about all the church groups that do volunteer work in Mexico, trying to help do exactly that, stop crime, improve neighborhoods and so forth. The decision is yours...

don't have the reference on the tip of my tongue but a reasonable source reporte (it was some police department in LA) that beaten wives was a rather high, common occurrance in that city.
That said, it doesn't mean they all do it.
Like I've said all along. They wouldn't do it if they knew any better but they are not much above animal primates. The macho man is the king. If he drinks, it's OK to hit the Mrs. No law against it in Mexico. But it's true. The ladies hit back and they have to to survive! Do we need these people coming here with such bad habits ...and others that are worse? I think not!

What?? Um what evidence does this Don M. person have that all Hispanic women are beaten? I reside on a border city where 99.9 of everyone is Hispanic and have never seen women walking around with black eyes or the like. It's more like the other way around. Most of the women here definitely do not take crap from anyone. They are tough cookies!

I've been with my Mexican husband for 7 years. He is intelligent, well cultured and would never ever hit me. If any man or woman ever hit me I would tear them a new asshole.
