You did the right thing....BUT you could have gone about it differently. Sometimes the right thing has some serious consequences that can put you in danger. You have to really think about how you approach these matters because that kind of person is not reasonable and does not care about you or the law. I'm not saying that you shouldn't have done it, but if there was a way to make him think you had nothing to do with it, it would have been safer. It is also hard to get away from people like that without them retaliating in some way. You have to make them think they are leaving you. My advice is to really think about the kind of people you get involved with before you get involved.

Someday he will be out and you won't be safe. Either move or ask the police what you can do to protect yourself ( although they can't help a lot ). Now go find yourself a good guy!

...........and yes, you must always fight back! Good for you!

Well if what he was cooking was meth, then its a very good thing you told the police because if he wouldve mixed it wrong, the whole house couldve exploded and he couldve died.
You told because you care not only about him and his well being but the well being of others around him.

Also, you should never put up with abuse-EVER!
abuse and drugs...sounds like a nasty situation.

You did the right thing-dont let anyone tell you otherwise and dont think badly of yourself for telling on him. Its not snitching if it could really get someone hurt or in serious trouble.

Of course you did the right thing! If he was doing something illegal, and he was starting to get physical with you, then you definitely did the right thing! Don't think for a moment that you didn't! Good for you! Soooo many women just let their boyfriends get away with anything, but you didn't, you did the right thing! :)

Yes, I believe you did do the right thing. He obviously doesn't respect you enough if he's doing that without your consent and especially if he gets violent towards you.

you deffintaly did the right thing and if he is in to that sorta thing it would be wise of you to change your number and not have anything to do with him... i know you may love him but any man who puts his hands on a woman doesnt deserve her love... plus for your own well being you should stay clear of him...
