Hello Harrison

First off you have an exellent game, at a six handicap you allready handle your driver and all other clubs in the manner needed to score.

Now it seems that the Taylor made R7 series drivers are currently the rage, I presume this is because most golfers really would like to dial a swing up to improve their game and with these clubs you can actually do that.

Your swing speed indicates that you should use a stiff shaft so keep that in mind when getting a new driver.

I personally am looking at a Srixon driver for next season, I know several friends that have one and I hear no complaints.

I think you should demo several different drivers befor making up your mind, whats good for one may not and usually isnt good for another.

Good luck and keep em straight.

although there are many drivers on the market today, in my opinion: I would say you go to your local golf store, try hitting the cleavend launcher, the callaway , ping, and a cobra, I think it will come down to your choice, I have tried all , and they are all good products, and I picked the cobra 9 degree closed face with a : S'flex . Now your swing speed is between a regular and a stiff flex, due to your age, I would say, the s'flex with a low kick point.
GOOD LUCK !

Honestly, you might actually check out some pre-owned Drivers. I know that you can get a used Titleist K for under 150 dollars at most golf shops.

New, I would say that the best new driver on the market are the Taylor Mades with the weighting system. They are great.

Anything in the Taylormade r7 line. They are the best. Make sure you get custom fitted from your local golf shop.

Go to a golf store and get fitted for one. Cobras are great. My friend has one, he is 14 and hits it about 250 yards.

If you want a good driver for a decent price... the TaylorMade r580 is on sale for $99.
