Each person gets 2 pieces of pizza. Here is why: 12 pieces for two pies. That means that 6 pieces to each pizza. I/6 of one pie would be one slice and if there are two pies, then 1/6 would be two slices.

However, you have it worded that there are only 12 pieces of pizza... So, if both pizza's together have 12, then it's 2.
