It concerned me, that every bible time line [ and much info ], was so different. I did study to examine every thing & not miss a thing. For sure I do not take the word of some one else. 1656 + 427 = 2083, Gen.12:4 Abraham less age 75 born 352 after flood.Gen. 11: 10,11; Shem, 502 dies. [ age 600 ], Abraham dies, 527th year. Moses [ Exo.7:7 [ age 80 ]; Exo. 12:40,41; Gal.3:16-18; 430 + Deut.34:7 + 40 = 2553 to Promised Land ]; Moses is 857 to 897 after the flood.
Josh.5:6,10,12; 898 + Jdgs 11:26 300 is 1198 [ + 29 Samuel + 80 = 1307 Acts 13:20; + 20 dies 1327 after flood. Saul 1293 to 1333 Acts 13:21;
David 1303 + 70 = 1373 1Ki.2:10.11;
[ David 1107 - 70 = 1037 before Christ ].

There Has got to be a way to check it that is fool proof beyond a shadow of a doubt and it deserves that attention.
Do it from Adam to Daniel.
Do it to flood, do it as after flood year.
Do it then as before Christ years.
We are now [ so important 1Thes.5:1-9,21 ] needing correct time & seasons.

It was 2000 yrs from Adam to birth of Abraham and 2000 yrs from Abraham to Christ. 4000 yrs give or take a few.

You can't go by that.Sometimes they would skip men who were sub par ,didn't amount to much,they'd skip right over them.But the basic rule for Jesus is : 14 generations from Abraham to David and 14 from David to Jesus.Read Matthew for this(Ch 1).Luke does Mary's geneology and tacks Joseph on the end.Hers is through David's son Nathan rather than Solomon.Solomon's line was cursed at Jeconiah(Coniah in Jeremiah).That's why Joseph couldn't be the natural father of Jesus.
