I had taken my bf back recently in september.
On his vacation, he spent 3 days with me at my house.
Those days my feelings have changed even more. I love him more and more everyday.
One evening, I was sleeping, ( I usually leave the radio on while I sleep), I woke up and heard "The Dance" playing on the radio, I felt sad and didnt understand where this feeling is coming from. can anyone relate?

in my opinion it is about not being afraid to take a chance, no matter what the possible outcome of the situation. by the way a great song by a great artist. but you never now how any certain thing will end, but you have to be up for a chance of losing everything to possibly gain everything.

Yes it does. It was one of my husband's favorite Garth songs. He passed away from cancer a little over three years ago. It was one of the songs that played at his funeral service as my sister made a CD of my husband's favorite songs. When I hear "The Dance" I immediately think of the man I spent over 20 years with.

think of it this way if someone you loved died and you had the chance to go back and change things to where you never would have been together so you wouldn't have to go through the pain of losing them but you decide that it was better to have loved them for the time that you had them rather than never having met them or felt that kind of love.
"I could have missed the pain
but I'd have had to miss the dance."

Listen to the song several times. You'll understand it.
