You can put them at the bottom of the fridge or in the basement so that they stay cold.

keep them cool but not cold--tropical fruits should not be refrigerated--the cold dry air spoils them. either keep your oranges at room temp(as long as the room isnt too hot) theyll only last about a week, tops.or if you have a root cellar they'll keep for up to 3 weeks there. put them in the basement if you dont have a root cellar theyll last longer than at room temp. or in the fridge

it's not good to put them in the fridge because the air is too dry. You can keep them in a bag in the fridge. I don't like cold fruit so I keep them on my kitchen table, out of the sun. Just don't keep them longer than four days or so.
