gift conundrum???

Question

so my girfriends and i have decided to do a gift exchange, but only spend up to $10 dollars. no bath and body works and no gift cards. any ideas? and if it is up to $20 we can go in together???

Why no bath and body works? they have great deals for ten dollars.

Anyway you might consider hitting the bargain racks at bookstores. They have some lovely coffee table volumes this time of year for exactly ten dollars. You might try the bargain priced cd's on Amazon. There is always chocolate, or liqeur. Is anyone into art? a new sketchbook or a small paint set would never go amiss. If you have an Avon rep, they sometimes have some lovely little gift sets of lip gloss. I don't see these constraints as being all that bad. There's plenty out there if you look for it.

$10 dollars - hmmm, what about an subscription to People Magazine, its probably more about $20

Candles are always nice, especially with pretty candle holders.

A journal, a book that you liked, a mini-book light for reading in bed, picture frames, a collection of recipes from family and friends.

Do a death by chocolate basket. Put in a pretty mug (about 1.00 at dollar store, dollar tree,etc). Put in packets of hot cocoa, chocolate kisses & chocolate chip cookies! Wrap in pretty cellophane and ribbon.

Do a manicure basket with polish, file, etc.

Pick out a cool paperback and attach a candy bar and a bag of popcorn & a soda!

You can buy a pretty cute pair of earrings or other jewelry for 10.00 at Target, WalMart,etc.

Or - how about buying man's XL T-shirt and tie-dye it - for your own custom night shirt. You could tie-dye a matching white pillowcase too.
