I have a network with mutiple users, who need to be able to shair a lot of different url's over time. We need a place where we can save the url's, and have the url be clickable when its saved and opened again. (trying to make it easier so we dont have to copy and paste the url's to go to the sites.)

Currently we paste url's from certin websites to a notepad in a shaired folder, but when its saved, the url's are not clickable, how could we make them clickable, I mean the're just url's..... We all use IE7.

I don't think it's possible in NotePad. I know that advanced word processors will convert any http:blah into a clickable link. I think WordPad might do it as well, so if you are looking for the smallest possible file type with clickable links, then that might be your best bet.

use PHP or ASP script for your website. Or if you are old school and just do html, you can find a java script to read urls out of a text file saved on your site.

O ya btw get rid of IE, you are just asking for viruses, worms and trojans using gay *** IE. Go with firefox or mozilla suite.

IF your website stuff fails and you want to make a fast and easy site download e107 or phpnuke or some kinda of portal.

There are a lot of things you can do. First thing that comes to mind is message board software, or save the notepad as .html instead of .txt. When you enter the links you just pur in the code with them, example:

Do you have Word on all the computers? Then you can create clickable URL's there. Check this out --> http://www.internet4classrooms.com/msword_hyperlink.htm
