I doubt the parents are really expecting something from someone your age, but I know that you feel obligated, and I think it is nice that you are thinking of them. I think a nice plant, like a poinsetta. or other xmas arrangement that they can decorate the house for the holidays, would be nice. This would be a gift you could give a few days prior to the 25th, so they could display it. good luck.

I buy my christmas gifts through out the year. I also buy new products on Ebay for a fraction of what they are in the shops. Yesterday I went to our local £pound£ shop and bought stocking fillers for a total song! I also got stuff for all my pets too! Be realistic and ask yourself when you are about to purchase something "Would someone like this as a gift" OR "Do I really need it"? I have wasted a lot of money in the past but not anymore. We have our first, new baby due in 2wks so we have to cut right down - especially with the credit crunch! Good luck and errr..Merry Christmas! x:-)

Its so sweet of you to think you should get them something for christmas.
Best solutions I can come up with would be asking your girlfriend for advice to see what her parents like.
Or you could make a hamper mixed with some beer and nuts for the father and roses and chocies for the mother or fruit..
As long as they dont have any allergies.
What about a dinner voucher for them or a pamper package..
considering your age and how long you been going out with your young lady you might like to consider some thing simple but nice.

I don't know what present per se you should get them,
that would depend on them, but a nice christmas card (or whatever holiday they have) with a thoughtful hand written message from you would be nice. Not too suck-uppish but thoughtful and pretty easy to do.

hhmm... i think it's better if your have separate gifts for the parents... for the dad you give him sumthin that he uses for his hobbies or sumthin like a bottle of wine or champagne maybe... and for the mom.. sumthin cute that her mother would adore... like figurines or scented candles(with the christmas "aura" to it) or even perfumes would do... ;)
